Seedream 4

Powered by Seedream 4 Image Generator

Write the frame and get it back at up to 4K, six takes at a time — or attach up to 10 references and edit, combine and restyle what you already have. The Size chip sets the pixels; the prompt sets the crop.

Everything Seedream 4 covers

Render straight to 4K

1K for quick looks, 2K for most work, 4K when the frame has to survive a print crop or a wall. One Size chip, same prompt, same pass.

Edit and combine from 10 references

Attach up to 10 images and describe the single frame they should become — change one element, carry a subject into a new scene, or fuse several frames together.

Six takes on one prompt

Ask for up to 6 images in one run and pick the keeper, instead of re-rolling a prompt one image at a time.

The prompt sets the crop

There is no aspect control to set. At one Size keyword an editorial landscape comes back near 3:2 and a panorama comes back far wider — the framing follows the words.

Frequently Asked Questions

How large can a Seedream 4 image be?

1K, 2K or 4K, set on the Size chips. There is no separate aspect control — the shape of the frame comes from the prompt.

How many images can one run produce?

1 to 6, on the Images slider. Each is a separate take on the same prompt, and each is priced as its own image.

How does reference editing work?

Attach 1 to 10 images and the run switches from text-to-image to editing. Write the prompt as the change — what to replace, what to leave identical — and the attachments are what it refers to.

Can a face or a product stay consistent across images?

That is what the references are for: attach the frame the subject already appears in and describe the new scene. Nothing is locked by a control — consistency comes out of the reference and the prompt.

Is there a negative prompt field?

No. Exclusions go inline at the end of the prompt, the way the examples here do: no text, no logos, no HDR, no harsh contrast.

Seedream 4 or Seedream 5?

Seedream 5 is the newer family and has its own app — Pro at 1K and 2K with 10 references, Lite at 2K to 4K with 14, one image per run. Seedream 4 is the one that renders up to 6 images at a time.
