Monument In Golden Barley

A surreal studio still life: four disembodied forearms reach in from the edges of the frame, each hand wearing a long glossy latex glove in a different colour — deep purple, tan-beige, crimson red and chartreuse green — held palm-up and flat. Each palm carries a single ripe peach, blushed red over orange-yellow with soft fuzz and a clear cleft. The arms sit at different depths so the nearest peach is large and sharp at the lower right and the furthest is small and soft-focused at the upper left. The background is a seamless pale powder-blue sweep with a large softbox glowing at the top of the frame. Clean bright studio light, glossy latex highlights, saturated candy palette, shallow depth of field, conceptual advertising still life.
